If your board creator delivered a Kudoboard to you through our email system, we send you an email shortly thereafter (within an hour) to allow you to thank board contributors.
Within this email, you will have the option to reply to all contributors who provided their email address when posting on your board. You can also thank your contributors directly from the board itself.
Please note that those who posted anonymously (without creating an account) will not receive this thank you email.
To send your thank you message from the "Thank contributors" email:
1. From your inbox, click the link provided for you in the email titled "Thank your Kudoboard Contributors". This will take you to the board to craft your thank you message.
2. From the "Thank your contributors" page, write your thank you message(s). You may choose to send the same thank you message to all contributors, send a message to a specific group of contributors (check/uncheck the box to the left of their name(s)), or send a personalized thank you to each contributor by toggling between As a group and Individually, as shown below:
3. You can add media to your message as well, such as an image, GIF, audio, or video. If you'd like, you can record audio or video in place of text to say thank you. This can be a great way to capture your true reaction and emotion when receiving a board, letting your contributors know just how much it meant to you.
4. Click Send thanks when you're done to send your message(s).
To send your thank you message while viewing the board:
1. View the board in recipient view. If you see a button in the upper right-hand corner of the board that says "View as recipient", please click that button to get to recipient view.
2. Click Thank contributors on the upper left-hand side of the board.
3. If you are not logged in as the board recipient, you'll first be asked to enter the email address that the board was delivered to and then verify that email address with a code sent to your inbox.
4. Follow steps 2-4 under To send your thank you message from the "Thank contributors" email.
Note: Not required, but you can check the Make this thanks public box under the Send thanks button before sending your message(s) on consumer accounts (www.kudoboard.com) and Business plan accounts where public boards have been enabled by Org Admins. Doing so will give Kudoboard permission to share your board and thank you messages publicly on our website, social, ads, etc. to inspire others to share appreciation!
Once you send your thank you message(s), both you and contributors can view the message(s) that have been sent to them from the board itself by clicking the heart icon in the bottom left-hand corner of the board while logged in to their accounts.
If more than one message has been sent to them by the recipient, there will be a Next/Previous button to allow them to switch between messages.
