Is Kudoboard GDPR compliant?

Kudoboard takes data privacy and security seriously and makes every effort to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements. 

If you are a natural person residing within the European Union, you have the following rights:

  • The right to access. You have the right to request copies of your personal data.
  • The right to rectification. You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request that we complete information you believe is incomplete.
  • The right to erasure. You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to restrict processing. You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to object to processing. You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to data portability. You have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

We have taken the following steps to ensure compliance with GDPR requirements, beyond recognizing data subject rights:

  • Lawful Basis for Processing: We collect and process personal data only when we have a valid legal basis, such as user consent or contractual necessity.
  • Data Security Measures: We implement industry-standard security measures to protect personal data, including encryption, access controls, and regular security audits.
  • International Data Transfers: When transferring data outside the EU, we rely on standard contractual clauses (SCCs) or other approved mechanisms to ensure lawful data transfers. Please note our data centers are based in the United States.
  • Privacy Policy & Transparency: Our privacy policy clearly outlines what data we collect and how we use it.

If you make a request, we will respond within the time required by law. In connection with such a request, we may require that you provide us with information necessary to confirm your identity before responding. In addition, please note that certain information may be exempt from such requests in some circumstances. For example, we may need to keep processing your information for our legitimate interests or to comply with a legal obligation.
