Custom variables are available when creating eCards on Enterprise plans. They allow you to assign unique values to @Custom1, @Custom2, and @Custom3 for each recipient when creating a multi-recipient eCard. Use them to personalize each eCard with information like award names, prize amounts, departments, or any other custom text.
- First, upload recipient data, including what you want your custom variables to be for each recipient, in the Delivery menu using the provided template.
- Once uploaded, you'll see each recipient and all custom variables you included shown in the Delivery settings menu. Click See more to expand and view the second and third custom variables of a recipient if you've included more than one custom variable.
You can edit any field here at any time, including the first name, last name, email address, and each custom variable. Just don't forget to click Save changes at the bottom of the menu after doing so.
- Once your recipient data and custom variables are uploaded, you can now use the @Custom1, @Custom2, and @Custom3 tags just as you would the @FirstName, and @LastName tags, both on the envelope of the card and in the message of the card.
- Once your eCard is delivered to your recipients, they will see their respective custom variables appear in place of the tags.
