We'd recommend the following steps to ensure your contributors engage:
1. Show, don't tell. Before you invite others to contribute, write a nice post and add some kind of media (GIF, photo, video, audio post, etc.). Make sure to craft your message thoughtfully to reflect how you'd like others to add to the board.
2. Remind contributors about the board a few days prior to the delivery date of the board, as well as the day before it's supposed to be delivered.
-
- If you've invited contributors via email by way of our platform and left the "Send reminder email" option toggle on (it's on by default), Kudoboard will send a reminder email to those who haven't posted 24 hours prior to the delivery date you've set on the board (only if you've used the Delivery menu to schedule a delivery date).
-
- You can send additional reminders, as many as you'd like, by navigating to the Email tab of the Invite contributors menu, as shown below. To the right of the number of contributors in the green rectangle, click Reminders.
-
- This will show you the list of those you have invited to the board and whether they were successfully invited (invited label with gray dot), have opened the invite email/board but haven't contributed (opened label with yellow dot), and if they've contributed (contributed label with green dot).
- We'll automatically select all of those who haven't contributed - marked by the check marks to the left of the contributors - but you can click selected contributors to unselect them, click to select, or choose "Select all" at the top of the list to select all of those who haven't contributed once more.
-
- Click Send reminder emails to send a reminder to the selected contributors. Repeat as desired prior to the board's delivery.
