Option 1: Launch Kudoboard with a specific, company-wide use
Hi [Employees],
We’re excited to introduce you to Kudoboard, a workplace appreciation solution for special occasions, shout outs, and engagement events.
It’s often used as a replacement for the card that’s passed around & signed on retirements, birthdays, work anniversaries, welcomes for new hires, get wells, thank you's, farewells, shout outs, etc. You can create either a board, which contains multiple posts, or a card, which includes a single post.
To kick things off, we wanted to invite you to {wish John Smith a happy retirement, etc}. Here is the board where you can post: {board-link}
Thanks, and don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions,

Option 2: General Launch Announcement
Hi [Employees],
We’re excited to introduce you to Kudoboard, a workplace appreciation solution for special occasions, shout outs, and events.
It’s often used as a replacement for the card that’s passed around & signed on retirements, birthdays, work anniversaries, welcomes for new hires, get wells, farewells, shout outs, etc. You can create either a board, which contains multiple posts, or a card, which includes a single post.
Here is an example: XXXXX
To start a new board, here’s what you’ll need to do:
- Sign in / register at https://your-subdomain.kudoboard.com
- Start a board for a recipient (Congrats on your retirement, Carl!)
- Add an initial post (i.e. a message, photo, GIF, video, etc)
- Schedule it for delivery in the future
- Invite other team members to contribute
The most important thing you can do to ensure success with your team is to make your first post to a recipient’s Kudoboard, before inviting others, really good. E.g. add a nice message and include a GIF, image, or video to go along with it. People will follow your lead.
Thanks, and don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions,
