Can I Import Users to My Plan Who Were Previously Using Kudoboard Ad-Hoc?

If you have individuals who are part of your team and/or organization who were previously using Kudoboard ad-hoc before you purchased your Business plan, you can migrate users to your plan via the Admin Panel to consolidate all users and boards.

1. First, log in to your Business plan subdomain (yourcompany.kudoboard.com) as an Org Admin.

2. Click the Settings (gear) icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen and choose Admin Panel from the dropdown.

3. In the Users tab, click Add / Update users and choose Migrate users from the dropdown.

4. You'll be sent a 6-digit code to the email address you are logged in with. Visit your inbox, locate the verification email, and enter the code listed in the pop-up box.

5. Enter the email addresses, or copy and paste a list, separated by commas for individuals that you'd like to migrate to your account, and click Search.

Note: Don't worry about verifying if they have a Kudoboard account or not first, we'll do that for you!

6. We'll show you who we have in our system, and who we don't (toggle to the Not in system tab).

For those not in our system already, you can invite them via the Invite Users Page or via Spreadsheet Upload. You also have the option to download a spreadsheet of those users, if helpful.

7. For those in our system, underneath the matched users section, you can click Migrate X matches and choose to notify these users yourself that their account has been added to your plan or have Kudoboard notify them on your behalf.

Here's an example of what our notification email will look like:

8. After confirming migration, you'll see the following pop-up letting you know that the migration is in process. Click Got it

9. Once the migration process is complete, we'll send you an email notification to confirm.
