Enabling reactions, comments, and tagging allows users to respond to individual posts and/or tag individuals directly in a post. These features are only available on Business, Pro, and Enterprise plans, Company Event boards, and Memorial boards.
With reactions and comments enabled, people can engage by reacting with emojis to a post (👏 😃 ❤️ 😆 🍪) or by commenting on a post. With tagging enabled, people can tag their peers directly in a post or comment via email or Slack/Teams (integration with Slack/Teams is only available on Pro or Enterprise plans).
To enable these three features:
- When viewing a board, click the Settings button on the upper left-hand side of the board.
- Scroll down to the Engagement section.
- Toggle on Reactions, Comments, and/or Tagging as desired.
Remember - gray is off, blue is on!
Please note that if board moderation is enabled, the commenting function cannot be activated, and you will only be able to have emoji reactions.
Depending on which board type you select during the creation process (Special Occasion, Engagement & Culture, or Shout Out), each of these features will either be on or off by default. You can view those default settings by board type HERE.
